Ivie Efferson

Ivie Mary Efferson, 24, born on Saturday, August 3, 1996, in French Settlement and resided in Baton Rouge, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021.

Ivie Efferson was an East Ascension High School graduate, and a manager at America’s Best Eyecare Center. Ivie loved life. She enjoyed hanging out with her family and friends. She loved music, going to concerts, and drinking her favorite wines. Ivie loved all things that sparkled and shined, just like she did! One of her hobbies was collecting beautiful stones and crystals. Ivie was such a beautiful soul, she will be missed by many. She is our beautiful guardian angel.

Ivie is survived by her mother, Amy Milto (Blake Wederstrandt); father, Billy Efferson, Jr. (Aubrey); previous stepmother, Emily DeAngelo; Uncle Calvin Milto III; siblings, Chase Thibodeaux, Travis Efferson, Brandon Wederstrandt. Karl Wederstrandt, Erich Wederstrandt, Blake Wederstrandt, IV, and Bianca Wederstrandt; grandparents, Billy and Brenda Efferson, Sr. (PawPaw and MawMaw), Jenny Guedry (MeMaw); cousins, Emily Milto and Mikayla Milto; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ivie is preceded in death by her namesake grandmothers, Iva Lee Martin and Laverne Mary Bosch; great grandfather, Raymond L. Bosch, Sr.; and great grandmother, Lavergne T. Bosch.

Visiting hours will take place Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Resthaven Funeral Home from 9:30 AM until services at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will be Chase Thibodeaux, Travis Efferson, Colton Guedry, Matthew Falcon, Karl Wederstrandt, Chase Garces, and Leslie Bosch, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Ivie Mary Efferson’s name.
