Irma Denoux Dufour, 81, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on October 4, 2021.
Irma grew up in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. She graduated from Ascension Catholic High School and earned a cosmetology certificate in 1962.
Irma is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ned Dufour; children, D’ette Dufour Lowe and husband Brent Lowe, Todd Dufour and wife Erin Furlow Dufour, Rachel Dufour Ceruti and husband Ron Ceruti, and Paul Dufour; siblings, Petsi Denoux Boudreaux, Nicki Denoux Overstreet, and Sonny Denoux and wife Peggy Landry Denoux; grandchildren, Garrett Lowe and wife Haley LeBlanc Lowe, Adele Lowe Doescher and husband Scott Doescher, Christopher Dufour, Nick Dufour, Meredith Lowe Faul and husband Montgomery Faul, Angela Lowe, Mary Therese Lowe, Kate Dufour, and Sofia Ceruti; and great-grandchildren, Elise Lowe, Rhett Lowe, John Everett Doescher, and Philip Doescher.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Denoux, Sr.; and grandson, Joseph Ceruti.
Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Jefferson Hwy. on Wednesday, October 13. 2021 from 12:30 PM until services at 2:30 PM. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Pallbearers will be Paul Dufour, Brent Lowe, Ron Ceruti, Garrett Lowe, Scott Doescher, and Montgomery Faul.
The family of Irma Dufour wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Rebecca Treuil and Dr. Andrew Guidroz. A special thank you to our hospice nurse, Beate Pellet. We will always be grateful for the compassion and support they displayed.
