Imogene Barbay

A retired office manager for Claitors Law Books, she died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 86, a resident of Baton Rouge and native of Erwinville. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by Deacon Phil BeJeaux. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Joseph Nolan Barbay Jr. four sons, David Nolan Barbay, Jeffrey Allen Barbay and wife Lori, Timothy James Barbay and wife Vicki, and Ted Andrew Barbay and wife Jana two sisters, Juanita Cacioppo and Louise Porter 10 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Ulysse Goudeau and Noelie Ann Burgier brother, James Goudeau sister, Rita Mae Ranzino and two brothersinlaw, Louis Porter and D.V. Cacioppo.
