Howard Olivier

A resident of Baton Rouge and native of Opelousas, he died Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at age 79. Before retiring, he was a building contractor from 19632006 and a U.S. Army veteran. Survived by his loving wife, Ethelyn Rene Olivier children, Karl Olivier, Timothy Olivier, and Howie Olivier and his wife, Colleen brother, Walford Olivier and his wife, Audrey sister, Leora Zenon four grandchildren, Brooke, Patrick, Amber and Christian three greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Mathis parents, Alvin and Antoinette Loivier and two sisters, Ruth Trahan and Naomie Chenier. Visitation at St Jude the Apostle Catholic Church on Friday, May 21, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway. Arrangements by Resthaven Funeral Home.
