Howard Mounce

Howard Mounce,
resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the age of 76. He retired from the Baton Rouge Fire Dept. after 28 years of service. Howard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Annette Mounce sons, Barry Mounce and wife Kim, and Larry Mounce and wife Belinda grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Blake, Joshua, Brooke, Jonathan, and Rachel and brother, Marvin Mounce. Howard is preceded in death by his parents, William and Hester Mounce sisters, Gracie, Clara, and Bernice and brothers, Clarence Buck and Carl.

Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visiting will resume on Monday, October 20, 2014 from 10:00 am until service time. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
