Howard Landry, Sr.

A retired Teamster and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at Flannery Oaks. He was 81 and a native of New Orleans. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, Sept. 9, from noon until service at 2 p.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his three daughters, Julie Hurst and husband Freddie, Cecilia Landry, and Karen Landry Juban; two grandchildren, Kristi Cadarette and husband Stephen, and Freddie Hurst Jr. and wife Kadee; three great-grandchildren, Chase, Shelby and Dean Cadarette; brother, Leroy Landry and wife Jody; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Clancy O. Landry; and parents, Oscar and Edna Himel Landry. Pallbearers will be Freddie Hurst Sr., Freddie Hurst Jr., Stephen Cadarette, Roy Landry, Todd Landry, Taylor Landry, Derek Landry, Josh Landry, Jacob Diez.
