Hilary Stephens

Hilary Stephens, age 72, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. He was born on July 19, 1952, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Kirby and Jeanette Stephens. 

Hilary received his Bachelor of Science from LSU in business marketing. He worked at Powerlogic and finished his career at AWC. He was an avid fisherman and a devoted LSU fan, never missing a football game. His greatest joys were his children and grandchildren; attending their every game, dance, and track meet. Hilary enjoyed spending time fishing, golfing, lounging on the beach or traversing mountains with his family. 

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pamela Stephens; daughter, Sarah Delaney and son-in-law, Shawn Delaney; son, Hilary Stephens II and fiancée Katherine Sterner; his brother Tommy Stephens; his sisters, Cheryl Martinez (Dave), Mary Brewer (Jimmie), and Tammy Stephens; his grandchildren, Camdon Stephens, Braelyn Delaney and Savannah Delaney; as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Terry Stephens.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Sunday, March 2, 2025, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. A private inurnment will be held for the family at a later date.
