A resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008, at her home. She was 47. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, April 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home on Friday from 9 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Martin Corie. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her husband, James M. Schoenthal; father, Gilbert Brown; two sons, Randall Scott Hession and Jacob Wayne Hession; two stepdaughters, Julie A. and Jenie A. Miller; three sisters, Catherine Padgett, Deborah Kish and Mary Landry; two brothers, Charles and Frank Chris Brown; three grandchildren, Jacob Walter Hession, Madison Grace Hession and Jadyn Gabrielle Hession; and four stepgrandchildren. Preceded in death by her mother, Ruth H. Brown; first husband, Randall Wayne Hession; two nephews, Paul Regile Padgett and Eric Joseph Kish; and her dog, Peanut. She was a member of Grace and Truth Fellowship.
