Helen Hammack

A retired employee of WinnDixie and resident of Gonzales, she died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Gonzales Health Care. She was 82 and a native of Lincoln County, Miss. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, June 17, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Wayne Meyers. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by a son, Jerry C. Steele and wife Jane brother, Carol Watts and wife Mamie four grandchildren, Troy Blank and husband Wayne, Jacque LeJeune, Melissa Waguespack and husband Clyde, and Brandy Palmer eight greatgrandchildren, Kyle Blank and wife Zane, Sarah Blank, Abbey LeJeune, Dillon LeJeune, Gordon Waguespack, Kendall Ivy Waguespack, Anna Palmer and Sophia Palmer and greatgreatgranddaughter, Adalyn Blank. Preceded in death by her husband, Revis Thomas Hammack parents, Claude and Kate Watts sister, Eva Nell Johnson and brother, Clifton Watts.
