H.C. Garrison

H.C. "Bud" Garrison passed away on January 9, 2018, at the age of 80, surrounded by his family at North Oak Hospital in Hammond, LA.

He was a native of Athens, GA and a resident of Springfield, LA.

Bud retired as a Sergeant with the Baton Rouge Police Department. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, Al Azar Grotto, and the Acacia Shrine Temple. He will be remembered for his clown personality "Doodle Bud"

Bud is preceded in death by his loving wife, Florence Jeanette Garrison "Jill".

He is survived by his 2 sons, Kelly Garrison and wife Tonya, and Kyle Garrison; a daughter, Kristin Torres and husband Don; numerous nieces and nephews; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, La. 70816, on Saturday, January 20, 2018, from 12:00 PM until service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
