Hazel Bolin

November 2, 1927 — January 12, 2018

Hazel Anders Bolin, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away peacefully at St. Clare Manor after a long battle with Alzheimer's at the age of 90.

Hazel was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was always thoughtful and kind to others. She had a zest for life and always had a smile on her face expressing a joyful attitude which will be missed by all.

She is survived by her two sons, Elton Bolin and companion, Rachel Ragus and David Bolin and wife Veronica; two daughters, Linda Dunaway and husband David and Sherry Bolin Sisemore; her sister, Polly Taylor; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, D. C. Bolin; parents, Reginald Anders and Viola Spikes Palmer; two sons, Royce Bolin and Terry Bolin; and two sisters, Ruth Smith and Everlyn.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 11:00am until funeral service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will be Jon Bolin, Arthur Hey, Steve Sisemore, Tommy Boutwell, Joseph Kodak, and Timothy Rathburn.
