A Corbin Kentucky native passed away on March 13, 2013 at Lane Memorial Hospital. He was 94 years old. He was a World War II veteran and a resident of Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jackson, Louisiana. There will be a 1 pm graveside service on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, La. He is survived by his long time companion Mrs. Faye Cross two sons and daughtersinlaw, Thomas and Lorraine Withers, and William and Lisa Withers and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Mary Margie Withers and a son, Harry David Withers, III.
