A wonderful husband, father, fatherinlaw and grandfather passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012 at the age of 95. Harold was born on January 28, 1917 in Knoxville, MS to Alva and Elizabeth Mosher. He was a veteran of the US Army. He served during WWII as a sergeant in the 7th Armored Divisions Quartermaster Corps and served in the European Theater during the Battle of the Bulge. He was awarded a Bronze Star for his service. He enjoyed attending the yearly 7th Armored Divisions conventions for many years and reuniting with his army buddies. He was a member of Americas greatest generation and his handshake was his word. Upon his return from proudly serving his country he married his loving wife of 65 years Alice Jane Lusk Mosher. Harold was a homebuilder and small business owner in Baton Rouge for many years. Visitation will be on Monday November 26, 2012 at Resthaven Funeral Home in Baton Rouge from 10:00am until funeral services in the chapel at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife sons Harold E. Mosher, Jr. and wife Kay, Walter Bill Mosher and wife Debbie, and Robert Bobby Mosher and wife Jan granddaughters Lauren Mosher Tomlin and husband Bryce, Hayley Mosher, Jennifer Mosher Fernandez and husband Nolan, Sarah Mosher and fianc Juan Dermody nephews, William Bill McGehee and wife Dorothy, and Lester Mosher nieces Linda Mosher and Loann Arnold. Pallbearers will be Harold Mosher, Jr., Bill Mosher, Bobby Mosher, Bryce Tomlin, Nolan Fernadez, Bill McGehee and Donald Ray Bo Guillot. Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmie Sanderson. Pop loved his family and friends, playing golf and gardening. He adored his precious granddaughters. The family would like to thank Frankie Jackie for her loving attention.
