Harold Morales

Harold A. Morales, 91, of Gulfport, MS passed away Sunday, January 30 in the Armed Forces Retirement Home. He was a proud Army veteran who served with the 101st Airborne Division in this country and in Germany and Korea.

Harold was a very giving person with an unmatched sense of humor and warm smile for everyone. He had a soft spot in his heart for all animals and especially dogs, having rescued quite a few of them. He will be lovingly remembered by the many lives he touched: family, friends, neighbors and fellow soldiers.

He was preceded in death by his parents Helen Brown Morales and Louis Joseph Morales, Sr.; wife Lieselotte (Lee); and brother Robert.

He is survived by his sister Pat Walker and her husband Charles; brothers Dr. Louis J. Morales, Jr., and Carlos R. Morales; stepdaughter Petra Ortmanns and her husband Dietmar; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

Visiting hours will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, February 7, 2022, from 9:00 am until services at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
