A retiree from Exxon Chemical, resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died 7:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at Sunrise Assisted Living. He was 78 and a veteran of the Army who served in the Korean War. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Monday, Feb. 20, from noon until memorial in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m., conducted by Deacon Brent Duplessis. Inurnment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by wife, Deedy Chenevert two daughters and sonsinlaw, Donna and Frank Vendt and Vicki and Paul Brown a son, Hal Chenevert and Deedys children, daughter and soninlaw, Marcia and Jeff Baldwin two sons and daughtersinlaw, Bill and Sheri Thompson and Mark and Budgie Thompson two sisters, Audrey Crochet and Dolores Sparacino and husband Paul 16 grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends, especially Otis Crawford. Preceded in death by parents, John P. and Virginia A. Chenevert son, Chris Todd Chenevert brother, Hewitt Chenevert and brotherinlaw, Roger Crochet.
