Gwendolyn Gray

Gwendolyn Chic A. Gray passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the age of 82. She was native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Gonzales, LA. Gwendolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother. She was a loyal fan of the Saints, loved LSU football and baseball, and also liked boats and ships. Gwendolyn is survived by daughters and sonsinlaw, Joleen and Randy Hayes, and Allison Dink and Albert Mendibles son, Joel Gray six grandchildren, Brandi, Brandon, Christen, Brittany, Megan, and Matthew four greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and family friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Gray parents, Mervine and Corine Acosta grandson, Wayne Bubba Daigle sisters, Wanda Rita Peel and Corine Tuminello and brother, Mervine Acosta, Jr. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 8:30 am until funeral service at 10 am celebrated by Reverend Frank Uter. Interment to follow in Port Hudson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Hays, Matthew Mendibles, Chad Avertt, Kevin Gamble, Chris Tuminello, and Chuck Tuminello.
