Gregory Max Glueck was a genuinely loving friend, brother, son, and father. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on June 16,1960, to Dee and Edris Glueck. Greg passed early Sunday morning, June 28,2015.
Greg graduated from Louisiana State University in 1984, where he worked as a student- athletic trainer for the wrestling and gymnastics teams. After graduation, he continued his education and became a paramedic, and worked with the East Baton Rouge Parish Emergency Medical Services. He was most recently employed as a Corporate Safety Manager for Turner Industries. Greg was a proud member of the L-Club and Tiger Athletic Foundation, and LSU was a big part of his life. He was an active member of Healing Place Church, where he made many lifelong friends.
Greg's family was also a big part of his life. Greg will be greatly missed by his two daughters, Lauren Glueck Spahn and husband Josh, and Catherine Kelly Glueck; and his dog, Cooper. He is also survived by his parents, Dee and Edris Glueck, his brothers and sisters Jami Glueck Zellner, Dary Glueck and wife Donna, DeAnne Coltrane and husband Cullen, Randy Glueck and wife Karleen, Scott Glueck and wife Irma, Jon Glueck and wife Nancy, and Jennifer Braile and husband Dave, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Estelle O'Neal, and Louis and Shiela Glueck.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A second visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Resthaven Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Johnny Green.
Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
