Grady E. Bullock, Sr.,
was born on June 4, 1933, and passed away on June 10, 2014, surrounded by his family. He was 81 years old and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He grew up on a farm outside of Hazlehurst, Mississippi, as one of eleven children to Samuel and Lottie Griffith Bullock. After serving in the Navy, he attended CopiahLincoln Junior College in Wesson, Mississippi, and it was there that he met Annette Case who became his wife. They had four children and recently marked their 60th wedding anniversary. In 1972 he founded B H Air Tools, and took great pride in its growth and success. He sold the company and another business eight years ago however, much of his business model for B H continues to exist as branches of Delta Rigging and Tools. In retirement he enjoyed frequent trips to a second home in Mississippi and spending time with family. He liked nothing better than a big gettogether with his children, grandchildren and three greatgranddaughters. He was a sports fan with a particular love for football which he played in his youth.
Grady is survived by his children, Deborah Nault and husband David Grady Bullock, Jr. and wife Mary, Theresa Davis and husband Joseph, and Clifford Bullock and wife Barbara sister, Sarintha Bullock Buras grandchildren, Tara Davis Amaya and husband Juan David, Bryan Davis, David Nault, Jr., Rachel Nault, Sara Bullock Passman and husband Garron, Mark Case Bullock, Claire Bullock, Daniel Bullock, and Madeline Davis White and husband Vance greatgrandchildren, Madelines three daughters, Alaina, Natalie and Josephine. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters.
Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 11:00 am until service time. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, conducted by Tom Higginbotham. Pallbearers are Bryan Davis, David Nault, Jr., Mark Bullock, Vance White, Garron Passman, and Ray Jensen. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
