Grace Russell

Grace B. Russell, born on May 30, 1928, went home to be with the lord on March 11, 2018.

Grace is survived by her daughter, Darlene Russell Arnette and husband Greg of Baton Rouge, LA; two sons, Gary Michael Russell and wife Mary Beth of Brusly, LA and Kevin Charles Russell and wife Karen of Midland, TX; ten grandchildren, Stephen Reed, Jr. and wife Maria, Brandon Reed and Matthew Reed all of Biloxi, MS, Kristie Reed Pigg and husband Kevin of Baton Rouge, LA, Michael Russell , Sarah Russell and Kacie Russell all of Brusly, LA, Lindsey and husband Phillip Chriceol of Lafayette, LA, Melissa and husband Vince Fontana of Zachary, LA, and Molly Russell of Houston, TX; eight great grandchildren, Hayden, Mia and Bria Reed, Kimberly Russell, Rinoa and Zelda Chriceol, and Olivia and Elijah Fontana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Valmond Bernard and Mary Andrus Bernard of Arnaudville, LA; a husband, JD Russell of Coushatta, LA; two sisters, Joyce Bernard Holley and Gloria Bernard Waller; two brothers, Gerald Jules Bernard and Floyd John Bernard; and a daughter, Linda Susan Russell.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Ln. from 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. Burial will immediately follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Reed, Jr. Matthew Reed, Michael Russell, Rodney Russell, Jimmy Bernard and Vince Fontana. Honorary pallbearer will be Vernon Slayton.
