Gordon T. Albritton, Jr. passed away on February 4, 2014 at the age of 66. He was a native of Homer, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Gordon served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a very loving and caring husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather and uncle. Everyone loved Gordon and Gordon loved everyone. He had never met a stranger in his life. Gordon is survived by his wife of 31 years, Betty Rogers Albritton daughter, Shelly Bourg and husband Larry son, Scott Courtright and wife Jaime mother, Louise Albritton sisters, Linda McKenzie and Kay McKay brother, Brad Albritton and wife Beverly grandchildren, Caitlin, Grace, and Carter Courtright, and Hunter Bourg and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his father, Gordon Albritton, Sr. and grandfather, Tom Key. The family would like to invite all who knew and treasured Gordon to his visitation at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 5805 Jones Creek Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70817 on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 5pm until 8pm. Visitation will resume at Woodlawn Baptist Church on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 12:30pm until services beginning 2pm. Interment to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA. 70816. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Gordon Albritton to Woodlawn Baptist Church.
