Gloria Yammarino

A motor vehicle officer for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety, she died Monday Jan. 5, 2009, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was 56. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 11 a.m. until religious service at 2:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Milford Walters. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by father, Nick Landry Jr.; mother, Norma Sanderson and husband Basil; maternal grandmother, Edith Walker; two sons, Derek Yammarino and wife Julie and Chad Yammarino and wife Leeann; two sisters, Paula Berwick and husband Paul and Vicki Cannon; two grandchildren, Peyton Yammarino and Kaylee Yammarino. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Effie Rivere Landry Sr.; maternal grandfather, Henry Walker; ex-husband, Greg Yammarino; and grandson, Bryce Yammarino.
