Gloria Remstedt

Gloria Manville Remstedt, native of Phenix City, Ala., and resident of Slaughter passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, at age 78. She is survived by her husband, Fred Remstedt two sons, Chris Watson and Nathan Watson one brother, Billy Manville and his wife, Pat one grandson, Luke Reaves, of Cold Water Creek, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.L. and Ruth McDanald Manville former husband, Don Lee Watson Sr. son, Don Lee Watson Jr. and one brother and one sister. A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 11:30 am. Gloria was a hospital corpsman veteran for the Navy. She was a very loving mother and wife. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. Gloria was a very simple woman who always gave to others. She enjoyed watching movies and reading
