Gloria Kyler

Gloria T. Kyler, age 81, a resident of Gonzales, La. passed away on January 9, 2019.

She attended High School in Fordyce, Arkansas and graduated from Plain Dealing High School. Gloria attended Louisiana Tech University for two years and received her Certification in Secretarial Science. Later she became an Enrolled Agent to prepare Income Taxes.

Gloria married Paul Kyler on February 1, 1959 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Following Paul’s career as a Chemical Engineer in the Petroleum Industry they lived in Tyler, Tx, Houston, Tx, Corpus Christi, Tx, Portland, Tx. and Metairie, La. After retiring they moved to Pelican Point in Ascension Parish.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband Paul T. Kyler; son, Keith R. Kyler, D.D.S. and wife Karen; grandchildren, Katelyn Kyler and Kandace Kyler; brother, Gerald Taylor and sister, Linda Zimmerman.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Media Taylor.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 9:00 am until services at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
