Gloria Patin Hall, 89, longtime resident of Baton Rouge left the Earth to meet her Creator on Monday, December 30, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. Born on January 25, 1924 in New Roads. Gloria graduated from Poydras High School in New Roads and Baton Rouge Business College. Gloria was an avid golfer, LSU fan and bridge player. Gloria was President of the Sherwood Forest Country Club Ladies Golf Association. She enjoyed playing craps and Let it Ride at the casino. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Caldwell grandchildren, Brandy Thomas, Michael Thomas and wife Gwen, Brittany and husband Stewart Walters, and Katie Caldwell greatgrandsons, Trey Palmer, and Beau and Blake Thomas. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred Skinny Hall parents, Theodore E. Patin and Inez Guerin Patin brothers, Eric Patin and Theodore Patin, Jr. and sister, Nita Bess Gauthier. A private service will be held for the family at Resthaven Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Stewart Walters, Tommy Thomas, Michael Thomas, William Lindsey, Alan Scheutz and Bill Dellsperger.
