Glenna Martin

A resident of Zachary and a native of Lockport, N.Y., she died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 81, and loved dancing and family gatherings. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home chapel, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Saturday, May 10, from 9 a.m. until memorial service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Terry Booth. Survived by her husband, Eugene Dodson; four daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Junior Fletcher, Baton Rouge, Brenda and Bob Grover, Lockport, Donna and Roy Mulina, Mobile, Ala., and Dinah and Veron Hale, Port Allen; a sister, Polly Kirby, Lockport; eight grandchildren, Shawn Hirtzler and husband Jim, Julie Grover, James Floyd, Johnny John Boy Grover, Robert Aurandt and wife Abby, Crystal Wicker and husband Jason, Violet Doxey and fianc Eric Duplantis, and Michelle Strausbaugh and husband Curtis; 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, three sisters, two brothers and a grandson.
