Glenn Roy Adams

Glenn Roy Adams, 90, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024, at his home in Baton Rouge. 

Glenn was born March 20,1934, in New Orleans. He is a graduate of Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, Ga. and served in the US Army. Upon completion of military service, he returned home and became a partner in Adams Toyota in 1966, Baton Rouge's first Toyota dealership. Until his retirement in 1987, Adams Toyota received numerous awards and commendations from Toyota for both sales and service. Glenn was a member of NADA, LADA, an officer in the New Car Dealer Association, and the Lakeshore Lions Club.

Glenn was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather, mentor, friend, and a lifelong LSU fan. He loved fishing and cooking his jambalaya and sauce piquante. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ann Lampo Adams and his daughter, Stacy Adams Pugh of Thibodaux. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Eleanor Pugh Thibodeaux and husband Matt of New Orleans, and John Foley Pugh II, of Thibodaux, who affectionately called him "Poppy". 

He was preceded in death by his son Wade Glenn, and his parents, C.L. and Eleanor Adams.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at St. George Catholic Church Cemetery.
