Glen D. Singleton, Sr., age 89, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on January 8, 2017.
Glen was the president of MOV, Inc. and was well known for his engineering abilities. He was a member of the Royal Cowboy Association who also enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Glen was a devoted member of First Methodist church, a proud Army veteran who served bravely in World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty Nurdin Singleton; his sons, Glen Singleton, Jr., John Singleton and wife Debbie, and Charles Singleton and fiancé Alicia Dufresne; his sister, Jonilee Singleton Furnish; his grandchildren, Richard Singleton, Johnny Singleton, Alice Singleton Gregoire and Randi Singleton Foval; and five great-grandchildren.
Glen is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Christy Lynn Singleton.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, from 10:00am until funeral service at 1:00pm, officiated by Rev. Pattye Hewitt. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
