Gervais Sharp

Gervais Pinky S. Sharp, 82, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at his home. A resident of Bayou Pigeon, LA and a native of Baton Rouge, LA. Pinky had many hobbies, but his most special ones that he loved were the casino, crap tables, sports, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his two daughters, Kay Sharp Monte and Elaine Sharp Meliet two sons, Gervais Keith Sharp and wife Donna, and Ken D. Sharp daughterinlaw, Loretta P. Sharp sister, Elaine Sharp Davis 11 grandchildren 8 greatgranchildren and special friend, Bobbie McDaniel. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Mary Elvina Sharp and brother, Marshall J. Sharp, Jr. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 5 pm to 9 pm and will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 8 am until funeral service at 10 am conducted by Mitch Collier.
