Gerard Alfred LeJeune, born on January 10, 1934 and joined the Lord in his home on March 31, 2018.
He is a graduate of Catholic High and LSU. He served our nation in the Korean conflict in the US Marines corps. He was a former sales manager for State National Life Insurance. He was also former football & basketball coach for St. George and St. Anthony Schools.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Joseph, Sr. & Gladys Webre LeJeune.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Rushing LeJeune, Baton Rouge; children, Leslie Ann Bradford, Baton Rouge; Julia Renee and her husband, Jacques Stephen Pecquet, Baton Rouge; Gerard Matthew LeJeune, Atlanta; Mark Andrew LeJeune, Mandeville; grandson, David Philo Bradford, Baton Rouge; granddaughters, Julie and her husband, Michael Tullier, Baton Rouge; Jennifer Pecquet, Baton Rouge; Jacquelyn and her husband, Drake Falcon, Baton Rouge; Elizabeth Faye Bradford, great-grandchildren Matthew and Madeleine Tullier, Baton Rouge; brother, Alfred Joseph LeJeune, Jr., Livingston, La. and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be at St George Catholic Church on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at 9:30 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am.
Special thanks and gratitude to everyone from Hospice in his Care that provided him comfort over the last year.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to can be sent to Covenant House in New Orleans or Catholic High School in Baton Rouge.
