Georgia Barousse

Georgia T. Barousse,
native of Natchitoches, LA, and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at the age of 97.
She was a devoted member of the Episcopal Church and leaves behind her daughter, Margaret Drummond and husband Maury Drummond son, Henry Barousse and wife Karen Jarreau Barousse beloved niece, Jane Culpepper and husband James L. Culpepper daughterinlaw, Lisa Farrow Barousse three sisters, Margaret Ebarb and husband Glyn of Vinton, LA, Lucy Dosher of Arlington, TX, and Ruth Dibble of New Hartford, NY and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Georgia is preceded in death by her husband, Valrie Edgar Barousse Sr. son, Valrie Edgar Barousse, Jr. and parents, Lemme and Margaret Texada Townsend.
Visitation will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Saturday, December 6, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. until memorial service at 12:00 p.m. Family and friends may sign the online memorial or leave a personal note to the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund at St. Patrick Episcopal Church, Zachary. Special thanks to Gloria, Melissa and the staff at Oakwood Village Assisted Living for their kindness, patience and care provided to our mother.
