George Lively

George Sidney Lively, II passed away at the Baton Rouge General on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the age of 70.

George served in the U.S. Navy and then went on to serve his community in the private sector. 

George is survived by his loving life partner, Pamela Efferson; children, Brian Lively, Jeremy Lively, Matthew Lively, and Aaron Lively and their spouses; numerous grandchildren; sister, Kathy Lively Medine Butler; and his nephews and niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertrand and Catherine Lively; and brother, John “Wes” Lively.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 1:30 p.m. until Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m.  Entombment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
