George Grau

June 30, 1937 — February 7, 2014

George A. Grau passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014. He was a native of Cuba and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. George was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his wife, Julia Grau daughter, Georgina Lemoine son, George Grau, Jr. grandchildren, Juliette, Jonathan, and Jace Lemoine, Eleanor and Madelyn Grau brothers, Juan Grau and Ernest Grau sistersinlaw, Zoraide Grau and Cheryl Grau and numerous nieces and nephews. George was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Faly Grau brother, Ralph Grau and sisterinlaw, Elena Grau. Visitation will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11441 Goodwood Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815, on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 1 pm. Father Tom Duhe will be officiating. Interment to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA. 70816.
