Gayle Rae Beebower passed away April 23, 2010 at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. Gayle was a multifaceted jewel, whose beauty and light were reflected in her many accomplishments in the Baton Rouge Community. After receiving her CTR from UNO in 1994, as a member of The Louisiana Cancer Registrars Association, she began working in her chosen field at the Baton Rouge General Hospital. She retired as Cancer Tumor Registrar from Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington. Her triumphs as a triathlete were recorded through out the country, the prestigious Pelicanman Triathlon, awarded in 1995 and 1997, were her grandsons favorite times with his NiNi. Much love to St. Lukes, Dr. Brookie AllphinSmith and her family, Ginger Moniotte and her family and all the Baton Rouge Community who blessed her life while she bravely struggled with her illness.
Gayle Beebowers daughter Dawn Brown and her grandson Justin Trahern have made arrangements for a memorial, Rite of Burial Service, for Gayle on Saturday morning, May 1, at 10:00 at St. Lukes Episcopal Church, 8833 Goodwood Blvd. A native of Quincy, Mass, her ashes will be interred in New England. Resthaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
