Gayle Bailey

A retired employee of the Louisiana Department of Revenue and Taxation, she died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, at her home in St. Amant. She was 59. Visiting and service times are pending with Resthaven Funeral Home. She is survived by her father, Clarence M. Bailey; a daughter, Lisa Caruso; son, Kevin Pegues and fiance Michelle Thomassie; sister, Roxie Curry; four brothers, Kirk Bailey and wife Millie, Gary Bailey and wife Clothilde, Brett and wife Lynn, and Mark and wife Debbie; four grandchildren, Tessi Newman, Luke Caruso, Logan Caruso and Cameryn Lucas; and a great-grandchild, Alex Newman. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Bailey; a brother, Craig Bailey; and a niece, Kathleen Bailey.
