Gaston Patin

Gaston Patin, 91, passed away at 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at his home. A native of Henderson, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, he was a WWII U.S. Coast Guard veteran and a retiree from Petroleum Service. Gaston was also a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Catherine D. Patin two daughters, Pamela Fletcher and husband Johnny and Deborah P. Soileau son, Gregory A. Patin and wife Annette brother, Claude Patin four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Lucille Patin three sisters and eight brothers. Pallbearers will include, Justin Patin, Johnnie R. Fletcher, Michael Fletcher, Gregory A. Patin, Garry Hubble and Henry Patin. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will resume on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am conducted by Reverend Phil Spano.
