Gary Plauche

Gary Plauche
native and resident of Baton Rouge, La passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the age of 68 due to complications from a stroke caused by diabetes. He was a Veteran Ssgt of the United States Air Force and was a heavy equipment salesman in Baton Rouge. Gary attended Istrouma Senior High School and was in fraternity Kappa Alpha at Louisiana State University. He loved fishing, cooking, LSU Tigers, and the New Orleans Saints. Gary was someone who saw beauty in everything, he was a loyal friend to all, always made others laugh, and a hero to many.

Gary is survived by his wife, June Sheridan Plauche daughter, Sissy Jennifer Lauree sons, Gary, Jr. Bubba, Joseph Boyce Jody, and Jeffrey Michael Mikey brother, Jeff Plauche grandchildren, Mason Bettis, Zachary Cody, Canton, Younger, Dylan, and Briley Plauche, Bentley Brewer, Charles, Annabelle, and Amelia Plauche numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Boyce Plauche and Annabelle Jeffries Plauche brother, Charles Boyce Plauche, Jr. and niece Karrie Kay Plauche.

Visitation will be observed at St. George Catholic Church on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 11:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Juvenile Diabetes Research or the American Diabetes Association. A special thanks to Dwayne Nettles, David Poche, T.W.
