Gary Osborne

A retired heavy equipment operator, he died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at his home in Central. He was 64 and a native of Bude, Miss. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, Jan. 21, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 22, from 11 a.m. until service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Warren Johnson. Survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Karen F. Osborne a son, Michael Gill and wife Misty two brothers, Bishop Pete Osborne and wife Barbara, and Eldred Ed Osborne and three grandchildren, Dylan M. Gill, Tyler J. Melancon and Stormy Rae Gill. Pallbearers will be Charles Vige, Clemon Mullins, Larry Teekel, Cody Teekel, Clint Osborne and Tommy J. Pierce III. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy J. Pierce II and David Ramsey. He enjoyed his weekend trips to the Osbornes OOO ranch in Jefferson County, Miss.
