Gail Miller

Gail Wallace Miller, age 76, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away July 25, 2018.

Gail graduated from Baton Rouge High School. She was employed at Baton Rouge Water Works. She then helped build GEMCO Services, Inc., the industrial and commercial painting company with her beloved husband Gene Miller. Gail and Gene were members of University Baptist Church where Gail taught children's Sunday School, sang in the choir, played hand bells and designed beautiful flower arrangements for church services. Gail and Gene were also passionate about their West Highland White Terriers and dog shows. She raised, showed and produced many champion Westies. Additionally, she served as a founding member of the West Highland White Terrier Foundation and Westie Rescue Foundation. Gail and Gene also enjoyed traveling and collecting antiques.

Gail is survived by her sons and their families, Brian Kevin Jordan and his wife Jennifer Guilbeau Jordan, and Jeffery Wallace Jordan and his wife Lisa Ortis Jordan and their sons Colton Wallace Jordan and David Walker Jordan.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Lou Wallace and Van Sant Wallace, her beloved Aunt Annie Scott and Uncle Mefford Scott, and her husband of 40 years Gene Eads Miller.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home July 28, 2018, from 9:00-11:00 a.m., until services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Gregory Edwards, Steve Henriques, Colton Jordan, Walker Jordan, Tony Palotta, and Steve Strohschein.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to their fantastic and loving sitters Ms. Teha Garba and Mrs. Audrey Peele, who lovingly cared for Gail in the last years of her life. Additional thanks are extended to the staff at Landmark Nursing home and Hospice Lifesource Services of Baton Rouge.
