Fredrick Bauerle

Fredrick E. Gene Bauerle passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the age of 85. He resided in Milan, TN and was a former resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Gene was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Atwod, Tn. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He retired from Holsum Bakery. Gene is survived by his children, Cathy Callegan of Gonzales, LA. and Connie McBee and husband Randy of Milan, TN. siblings, Majorie Baker and husband Robert of Baton Rouge, LA., Margaret Gomez of Hammond, LA., and Robin Bauerle and wife Sonya of Ganado, TX. grandchildren, Shay Gulotta and husband Craig of St. Amant, LA., Shannon Bourgeois and husband Brandon of St. Amant, LA, Justin Cagle and wife Janon of Milan, TN, and Jackie Ryder and husband Marvin of Fort Oglethorpe, GA. greatgrandchildren, Emily Bourgeois, Isablle Bourgeois, and Amelia Calleganall of St. Amant, Tony Mills, Michael Mills, and Emma Ryderall of Fort Oglethorpe, GA. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Opal Bauerle, and his parents, Mahlon and Thelma Bauerle. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 5 pm until 8 pm. Visitation will resume at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 9 am until service at 11 am. Interment to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
