Frances Barbier Williams, 96, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at St. Joseph Carpenter House. Frances was born in Napoleonville, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She worked in the medical field as a practical nurse.
Frances is survived by her two daughters, Janet Dubuc and husband Allen, and Anne Cifreo and husband Gerry two sons, Lloyd F. Williams and wife Ursula, Harold Williams, and daughterinlaw Marie Williams of the late Mark Williams 19 grandchildren, Jennifer Stauss Ed, Celeste Kerry Mark, Chris Williams Kelly, Scott Williams, Tommy Williams Angie, Lori Marascalco John, Brian Dubuc Alison, David Dubuc Brenda, Steven Dubuc Kathryn, Michelle Hart Lee, Jolie Williams Beard Eddie, Stephanie Broussard Kern, Marcie Gann, Kelly Williams, Gary Williams Emily, Matt Cifreo Christy, Lisa Breaux, Nancy Ashford Daniel, and Angela Englade Matthew and 34 greatgrandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd R. Williams, parents, Frank and Evella Barbier two sisters, Lucille Hebert and Thelma Melancon and son, Mark Williams.

Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Visiting will resume at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 10:00 am until service time. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, conducted by Father Mike Collins. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Special thanks to her devoted caregiver, Mary Augustus, for the genuine care that she showed to our mom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Hospice of Baton Rouge, or to the Cancer Society.
