Frances "Fran" Day Golleher

A resident and proud native of Baton Rouge, Frances “Fran” Day Golleher died at 1:43am November 20, 2024, at The Carpenter House. She was 70 years old. 

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, Monday, November 25, from 1:30 PM until service in the chapel at 2:30 PM, conducted by Deacon Joe Scimeca. Interment to be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. 

Fran had a wonderful sense of humor, an infectious outlook on life, and loved her LSU Tigers. She was always happiest when surrounded by her husband, kids, grandchildren, sisters/brothers and nieces/nephews. 

Fran is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Bill R. Golleher; daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Bruce Harvie of Alexandria, VA; son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Lauren Golleher of Baton Rouge, LA; siblings, Rosaline Day Hyslop, Sherry Day Craig, Peggy Day Hughes and Barry Louis Day. Lovingly referred to as “Tatty,” she is also survived by her four adoring grandchildren, Sadie Caroline Golleher, Grayson Day Harvie, William Day Golleher and Adeline Stratford Harvie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who also adored her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mimi Day; brother, Skip Day; and sister, Robin Day Brooks.
