Frances Fontenot

Frances Marie Wyble Fontenot passed after a brief illness on April 23^rd, 2023.  She was born June 27, 1947 and raised in New Iberia but had lived in Bueche for the last 48 years.  She is survived by her son, Chris and daughter, Madeline (Austin) and grandchildren Caleb and Abigail.  Survived also by one brother, Milton Wyble.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Kenneth Fontenot; her parents, Milton and Eunice Wyble and her brother Paul.  She was a retired librarian.  She enjoyed watching LSU baseball, traveling and working in her flower beds and spending time with her grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 1:00 pm until funeral services at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
