Frances Boerner

Frances Nola Boerner, age 80, a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on September 21, 2017.

Frances graduated from Baton Rouge High School, class of '55. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Walter August Boerner; two sons, Kevin Boerner and wife Annette, and Greg Boerner and wife Anne; sister, Antoinette "Toni" Nola; step-granddaughter, Julie Anne; nieces, Nola Richard, Susan Melancon Brown, Candice "Candy" Rayburn; and numerous cousins.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Nola and Tena Passantino Nola.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will resume on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home from 9:00am until service at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

The family of Frances Boerner wishes to extend our sincere thanks to The Carpenter House for the special care they provided her during her final days.
