Floyd Chaney

April 14, 1930 — March 8, 2010

Retired and a member of Electrical Workers Local 995, he died at 5:15 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2010, at Hospice of Baton Rouge. He was 79 and a resident and native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Tuesday, March 9, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday in the chapel from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Frank Friedmann. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife, Dora Chaney stepdaughter, Frieda Addison and husband David two sons, Steve Chaney and Paul Chaney two stepsons, Wade Richard and wife Sue, and Ken Richard and wife Tracey two sisters, Christine Daigre and Doris Stafford brother, Donald L. Chaney 11 grandchildren, Adam Chaney, Jason Richard, Jake Richard and wife Ashley, Khristina Shook and husband Chad, Rachel Goudeau and husband Buck, Jon Richard, Michael Richard, Christopher Nipper, Renee Richard, Nicole Richard and Tori Richard and six greatgrandchildren, Zane, Ava, Sophia, Reagan, Emma and Jaxon. Preceded in death by his parents, Culbertson A. and Magdaline Chaney three sisters and five brothers.
