Florine G. King, age 88, native of Corona, CA, and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.

Florine was known to be a kind woman that loved to travel with her husband across the country. She was an adventurous person and will be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Hastings; three grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Florine was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin King; step-daughter, Trudy Hipsley; and parents, Arthur and Bertha Gonzales.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, at 2:00 PM.
