Florence W. de Gruy

Florence W.  de Gruy passed away Friday, December 15^th, 2023 at the age of 88.  She was born November 10, 1935, in New Orleans and lived most her life in Baton Rouge.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Florence will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Roger J. de Gruy, their children; Duane de Gruy and Shan, Keith “Rocky” de Gruy and Andrea, Mona de Gruy Wheat and Dereck, their grandchildren; Dylan de Gruy and Rexanna, Ashlyn Wheat, Austin Wheat and Addison Wheat, and numerous great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am with service following at 10:00 am.
