Fay Swindler Walker, a native of Cottonport, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 23, 2024. She was in accounting but later in life found her true calling as a hospice grief counselor. Known for her outgoing personality, she embodied love in her interactions with people that she met as she walked through life.
She is survived by her siblings, Helen Swindler Feduccia, Nancy Swindler Thevenot (Herbert), David Swindler (Eloise), and Stephanie Swindler Armand; sister-in-law, Sandra Swindler; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Marvin Keels.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Bernard Swindler, Sr. and Alma Ducote Swindler; siblings, Marilyn Swindler MacMurdo (Buck), Howard “Bubba” Swindler, Jr., Suzanne Swindler Smith; and brother-in-law Don Feduccia.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
