Fatemeh Zarei

Fatemeh Ghorbanof Zarei, age 66, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on Monday October 2, 2017.
She was a graduate of LSU in Electrical Engineering and a Nationally Certified Mathematics teacher.
Fatemeh married her classmate, Arash Zarei, in 1978 in Gadsden, Alabama and moved to Baton Rouge in 1979 to continue her education. She loved to teach mathematics and received several recognitions throughout 22 years of teaching career as an excellent math teacher.
Fatemeh is survived by her spouse, Arash Zarei; son, Sina Daniel Zarei; daughter- in- law, Michelle Yarborough Zarei; granddaughter, Layla Catherine Zarei and sister Farida Khorsandi.
She is preceded in death by her father, Mosa Ghorbanof and mother, Khanom Ghorbanof; son, Ramin Zarei; brothers Hooshang, Manoocher and Mansour Ghorbanof.
Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 12:00 pm until services at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children Hospital.
