Fabio Gabanzo, Jr., a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on April 1, 2017, at the age of 68.

Fabio is survived by his ex-wife, Maria R. Gabanzo; his daughters, Claudia P. Gabanzo, and Gail A. Gabanzo; his grandchildren, Jean P. Gabanzo, Kelly J. Gabanzo, Kevin A. Camacho, Karime Hoyos, and Dominick Brooks; his brothers and sisters, Nelly Escobar, Leyda Ticora, Francia E. Gomez, Esperanza Hoosier, Diego A. Alvarez, Libia S. Jones, and Juan C. Alvarez. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Jorge H. Escobar, John J. Escobar, Janet Aarabi, Richard G. Escobar, Laura Barbin, Jennifer Lopez, Leyda Yvette Cordero, Jessica Melchor, Michael Gomez, Audrey Hendry, Melissa Liberto, Bridget Spears, Jeffrey Alvarez, Bryan Alvarez, Kaylee Suarez, Kyle Suarez, Stephanie Alvarez, and Ashley Alvarez.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, April 3, 2017 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 12:00 pm until funeral services at 2:00 pm.
