Everett Simoneaux Jr.

Everett A. Simoneaux, Jr., who was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Bush, LA, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the age of 68.

He was born December 11, 1946 to Rhea Simoneaux and the late Everett A. Simoneaux Sr. Everett graduated from Medical Lake High School in Medical Lake, WA. and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1966-1972. He settled in Baton Rouge, LA. and made a home there for 20 years where he grew his family.

In his retirement, he lived a life of leisure where his hobbies included showering his family with gifts and lending a helping hand to his neighbors.

He is survived by his mother, Rhea; two sons and daughter-in-law, Brent Simoneaux and Kevin and Denise Simoneaux; two grandchildren, Claire and Asher Simoneaux; brother, Paul Simoneaux and wife Jan; and nephew, Brad Simoneaux and wife Leticia, their daughter Zoey.

The family request visitation to be observed on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, from 10:00 am until prayer service at 12:00 pm.
